Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has revealed the first renderings of its upcoming Super Ships, the S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene, set to launch in 2027. These ships, inspired by the iconic styles of Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich, aim to bring a unique design vision to Europe's rivers.
The S.S. Audrey will reflect Hepburn's timeless elegance, featuring a modern design with a palette of greens, golds, and blues. It will offer amenities such as an intimate aft bar lounge, a private dining room, and adaptable suites for families. The ship will embark on its maiden voyage on 16 April 2027, with itineraries including 'Remarkable Rhine & Historic Holland' and 'Paris, Prague & Germany's Hidden Gems'.
The S.S. Marlene, paying homage to Dietrich's bold aesthetic, will feature warm tan and gold tones with striking accents. Accommodating up to 154 guests, it will include a restaurant, lounge, spa, and fitness centre. Its inaugural journey is scheduled for 27 March 2027 on the 'Tulips & Windmills' itinerary.
In addition to these ships, Uniworld will introduce the S.S. São Rafael on Portugal's Douro River and the Aqua Blu expedition yacht in partnership with Aqua Expeditions. By 2027, Uniworld's fleet will consist entirely of Super Ships, enhancing its reputation for luxurious river cruising experiences
