The Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI) has announced the 24th edition of the IAAPI Amusement Expo, scheduled from 10 to 12 March 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. Supported by the Ministry of Tourism under the Incredible India banner, and with Telangana and Madhya Pradesh Tourism as partner states, the event aims to shape the future of the amusement industry by bringing together global leaders and innovators.
Spanning 15,000 square metres, the expo is Asia's only focused technology show for the amusement and theme park sector. It will feature over 200 exhibitors from India and 10 other countries, including the USA, UK, UAE, Germany, and China. The event will showcase a wide array of attractions, from amusement rides and water park slides to arcade innovations and digital attractions.
The IAAPI Amusement Expo will also host the IAC Connect Conference, a platform for networking and knowledge-sharing. The conference will explore emerging technologies, changing consumer behaviours, and strategies for enhancing customer experience. Additionally, the Safety Conclave will focus on establishing world-class safety standards and sustainable operational practices.
Ankur Maheshwary, Chairman of IAAPI, highlighted the sector's growth, stating, "The Indian amusement industry is at an exciting inflection point, projected to nearly double in size to $2.64 billion (INR 22,000 crore) by 2030." He emphasised the expo's role in building the foundation for the sector's future through initiatives like the Safety Conclave and IAC Connect.
The Indian amusement industry, valued at $1.38 billion (INR 11,500 crore) in 2023, is rapidly expanding due to rising disposable incomes and urbanisation. The IAAPI, founded in 1999, continues to play a crucial role in the sector's development, representing over 650 members from various segments of the industry
