Bangkok Airways releases operating results for 2025

Bangkok Airways announced a net profit of THB 3,580.3 million, ferrying 4.2 million passengers over the past year

Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited (BA), reported its operating results for 2025 with total revenue of THB 26,067.2 million, as well as an operating profit of THB 5,589.2 million.

Likewise, net profit attributable to shareholders of THB 3,549.2 million as earnings per share stood at THB 1.69. 

Throughout the past year, the airline carried a total of 4.2 million passengers, with an average load factor of 76.1 percent.

Coping with the slowdown

BA president Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth declared that the Company served a total of 4.2 million passengers, representing a 2.5 percent decrease, in line with the slowdown in travel demand in certain markets throughout 2025. 

Domestic passengers accounted for 88.7 percent of total passengers, while the proportion of international passengers declined due to geopolitical conflicts.

For the fourth quarter of 2025, the peak travel season, the Company increased flight frequencies on popular routes including Bangkok–Samui, Bangkok–Krabi, and Bangkok–Trat. 

Passenger traffic for the quarter totaled one million, a decrease of 3.1 percent, with an average load factor of 76.1 percent. 

Operating profit, on the other hand, was at THB 823.7 million, up 7.1 percent, and net profit amounted to THB 441.5 million.
