Maison&Objet Intérieurs Hong Kong 2025 concludes with record attendance

The four-day event featured 180 brands and artisans from Asia and the Middle East

Maison&Objet Intérieurs Hong Kong 2025 wrapped up its second edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 3 to 6 December, showcasing a significant rise in attendance and industry engagement.

Under the theme "Crossroads," the event attracted over 12,000 visitors, marking a 206% increase from the previous year, with more than half being industry professionals.

The four-day event featured 180 brands and artisans from Asia and the Middle East, offering a platform for cultural convergence and sustainable innovation.

Philippe Delhomme, President of Maison&Objet, stated, "Maison&Objet Interiors Hong Kong stands out as a strategic platform in the heart of Asia, designed to support brands where growth, innovation, and influence are playing out today."

The event's success underscores Hong Kong's position as a dynamic node in the global design ecosystem, setting the stage for future collaborations and growth in the region.

Notable firsts

For the first time, attendees could purchase and pre-order exhibited pieces on-site, reinforcing the fair's focus on commercially viable design solutions.

Key highlights included the Design Factory's immersive pavilions, such as "Breath of Bamboo" by Thai designer Korakot Aromdee, and the Design Showcase, which traced an eastward arc from Paris to Seoul.

The event also hosted Le Club, a hub for networking and business exchanges, where many of the showcased objects were available for purchase.

The Dialogues programme featured seven sessions with 23 speakers discussing themes like sustainable innovation and hospitality futures.

Additionally, over 200 business-matching meetings facilitated connections between design professionals, resulting in more than 50 deals being signed or in discussion.
